Our chromoly 2332cc turnkey — our favorite naturally aspirated engine. If you’re looking for around 175 hp (stock is 60), great power, longer life and even more reliability, this is the engine for you. It’s the 2332 you’ll see most on our channel: Peter’s Meyers Manx on 48 IDAs, Shane’s 23-window bus, William’s and Dino’s, and Kill Bill’s full package with a 3.88 Freeway Flyer behind it.

We start with our all-new chromoly longblock — premium new case, new chromoly counterweighted crank, new balanced rods, new Engle cam and lifters, all new bearings, new pushrod tubes and gaskets, new chromoly flywheel, new HD oil pump, new balanced pistons, cylinders and rings, Gemvw premium heads with all new hardware, new chromoly head studs and pushrods — and add a pair of 44 IDF Webers, all new sheet metal, a new alternator and fuel pump, a new distributor with electronic ignition, wires and coil, and a new degree pulley.

Build it your way on the order form: displacement, crank and rods, camshaft (Scat, Engle or FK-8), heads (040, G03, GEM 0422 or CNC-ported wedge-port heads), springs and pushrods, ignition, carburetion, fan shroud (chrome, black or 911-style), pulley, oil cooling, sump, street or off-road exhaust and clutch. These are our best engines and carry our best warranty. Backed by our 6-month / 6,000-mile warranty to the original owner. Free freight to a business address with a forklift in the lower 48 (residential and liftgate delivery are extra), or pick it up in Menifee.

gemvw.com (Gervais Engine) warrants the engine to the original owner to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of six months or six thousand miles (whichever comes first) from the original date of purchase. Accessories are covered with a 30-day warranty.

All warranty will be voided if the following conditions are not met: the engine must be inspected to confirm proper installation within 5 days of installation; the oil must be changed and the valves properly adjusted after 60 minutes, 300 miles and 1,000 miles; and the oil must be changed and the valves properly adjusted after each consecutive 2,500 miles for the life of the engine. For local customers who prefer to have gemvw.com (Gervais Engines) perform said services, a $225.00 service is available.

The warranty does not cover failure due to neglect, improper installation, overheating, incorrect valve adjustment, insufficient or contaminated oil, additives, or outright abuse. The warranty will not apply to engines installed with non-stock or missing accessories, and will not cover the engine if it is determined by gemvw.com (Gervais Engines) that the vehicle the engine is installed in has affected the performance or reliability of the engine. Because a majority of the time overheating is caused by improper installation or the incorrect adjustment of accessories that are out of gemvw.com’s (Gervais Engine) control, the engine is not warranted against damage resulting from overheating. Examples of damage from overheating include, but are not limited to, burnt pistons or valves, seized rings, cracked blocks, cracked heads, and cracked, burnt or seized crankshafts. The warranty does not cover excessively worn rings caused by contaminated fuel or air, burnt or bent valves, or foreign debris dropped in the intake or crankcase.

Liability: the liability of gemvw.com (Gervais Engine) is limited solely to the repair or replacement of defective parts. This warranty does not cover any labor incurred in diagnosis, removal or installation of the engine or any other accessories. The warranty does not cover tune-ups, as they are outside the control of gemvw.com (Gervais Engine); keeping the engine and vehicle serviced is the complete responsibility of the owner of the engine. The warranty does not cover any other contingent expenses. gemvw.com (Gervais Engine) shall not be liable for any incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for any service such as towing or hotel accommodations not expressly provided herein. gemvw.com (Gervais Engine) does not pay for any shipping of parts returned, and you must get an RA# for any parts returned. The obligations assumed under this warranty are limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts as provided herein, and are in lieu of all other obligations, warranties or guaranties expressed or implied.

Shipping is included in the price for most addresses in the continental US. Some locations — remote areas, certain residential deliveries, or addresses a freight carrier can't easily reach — may carry an added shipping surcharge, and in rare cases we may not be able to ship to a given address at all.
